Business Development Manager (Houston)

Position Profile

Reporting to the President, Smart Process, the Business Development Manager will establish a geographic presence for Autopro and mCloud in Houston and surrounding area. We are seeking a candidate with a proven and verifiable track record of developing and growing business in a new market.

Position Accountabilities

  • Identify and develop business opportunities for the company’s AssetCare products and engineering and automation services in the defined geographic market.
  • He/she will be responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, understanding the competitive landscape and executing tactical sales strategies to grow business in the region.   
  • The Business Development Manager will have a solid understanding of engineering and industrial automation services and the ability to work independently to meet Autopro’s sales and growth objectives.
  • Experience in the delivery of industrial engineering services and AI and analytics will be considered a significant asset.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology Diploma in relevant discipline.
  • 10 + years of sales experience within engineering and/or industrial automation environments; Oil & Gas.  
  • 5 + years of progressive experience in industrial environments; Oil & Gas, Chemical Processing, Pulp & Paper, Utilities, or Refineries.
  • Position may require travel up to 40% of the time.
