The client, a municipal water / wastewater service, had a requirement to eliminate the need for manual valves on six condensate tanks in two sludge control buildings. The new condensate drip traps were to be controlled remotely (open/close) using digital output (DO) signals from the Computerized Data Acquisition Control System (CDACS).

Autopro's scope of work entailed providing electrical and instrumentation engineering services to complete a detailed design for the installation of the six condensate drip traps on the existing digester gas circulation compressors to allow for automatic drainage of condensate tanks.

Autopro also developed construction drawings (loop diagrams, panel schedules, EIC plan views, and P&IDs) to be issued for tender, IFC, and used as record drawings.
