Autopro Welcomes New and Returning Staff Members to the Team

Autopro is very pleased to welcome more new and returning faces to our Calgary office. We look forward to their contributions to the Autopro team.

 Autopro Automation_Bill Wallace  

Bill Wallace returns to Autopro as a Control Systems Engineer with close to 30 years of experience.  He encompasses entire system lifecycles from system design through configuration, implementation, commission, startup, and ongoing system support. His technical capabilities include the design and development of complex automation systems, including distributed control systems (DCS), PLC, human machine interface (HMI), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and remote terminal unit (RTU) technologies and their related networks and communications. In addition to Bill’s technical leadership and project support capabilities, he also offers considerable project management experience.

 Autopro Automation_Mark Peterson  

Mark Peterson is a Senior Electrical Engineering Technologist (EET). He joins us with more than 20 years of experience in many industries including mining, oil & gas, and oil field services.  In addition to his EET certification, Mark is also a Master Electrician who brings a great deal of knowledge in constructability and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) to his design work.  He is skilled with electrical design and is an experienced programmable logic controller (PLC) programmer.  Mark has completed projects from conceptualization, through detailed hardware design and configuration, and into testing/commissioning/startup/ongoing support.  He has also held a number of supervisory positions including Electrical Department Manager.

Frank Pintye was also welcomed back to the Autopro team. He is a Certified Technician with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET). He has more than 30 years of experience in instrumentation and has performed construction, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities in various process environments and geographic locations. Frank has also taught at accredited institutions, and managed groups that provided training for employees of various global operating companies.

 Autopro Automation_Leslie Paynter  

Leslie Paynter is a Senior Drafter and interim CAD Team Lead. Leslie has over 30 years’ experience in industrial, commercial and residential drafting and CAD, with expertise in electrical, instrumentation and controls, P&IDs, and power systems.

 Autopro Automation_Cassidy MacQuarrie  

Cassidy MacQuarrie is a Junior Technologist.  She recently graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Instrumentation Engineering Technology program and is currently working towards her electrician apprenticeship. Prior to joining Autopro, Cassidy worked as an Electrical Apprentice with an industrial and commercial electrical contractor.
